A Sutherlin woman was jailed on weapons charges and for menacing, following an incident Tuesday night.

An SPD report said at about 6:50 p.m. the 55-year old suspect allegedly pointed a gun at a victim’s head during an argument in the 100 block of Camas Court. The victim took the gun away from the suspect and learned that it wasn’t loaded.

The woman was also charged with unlawful use of a weapon, and for pointing a firearm. She was detained without bail.
