Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged burglary incident early Wednesday.

An RPD report said just before 6:00 a.m. officers responded to a store in the 1800 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard for a forced burglary. A drive through window had been shattered and a cash register and lottery tickets were taken from inside the business. Officers watched footage of the incident and determined the suspect was a male wearing a lime green hoody, dark blue jacket, and pants. He was riding a bicycle and used a pipe to break the window.

30-year old Daniel Comes was developed as a suspect and was contacted near a dumpster at a business in the 3000 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. Comes was charged with second-degree counts of burglary, theft and criminal mischief. Bail was set at $56,250. He was released later in the morning.
