The Oregon State University Extension Service Small Farms Program is inviting farmers and producers to attend the Farm Direct Marketing Workshop on Tuesday February 21st

The event will take place between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.at the OSU Extension office at 1134 Southeast Douglas Avenue in Roseburg.

During the workshop, growers, producers and those interested in selling agricultural products will learn about the laws and regulations around selling direct from the farm. Organizers said producers will learn what is allowed under Oregon’s Farm Direct Marketing Law as it relates to vegetables, jams, jellies, and livestock regulations. The workshop will have important information for those who have just started a farm, are interested in starting a farm, or who are looking to diversify their product selection.

Registration fee is $10. Registration must be turned in by February 14th.
