During Monday night’s Sutherlin City Council meeting, Mayor Michelle Sumner and three councilors were sworn in.

Sumner and councilors Debbie Hamilton and Lisa Woods were all elected in the November General Election. Woods is new while the other two were re-elected. Gary Dagel was sworn in after being appointed to an open seat. He had served on the council in the past.
