WIND ADVISORY THROUGH 10:00 A.M. MONDAY

A Wind Advisory remains in effect through 10:00 a.m. Monday for parts of southern Oregon.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said southeast winds of 15 to 25 miles per hour with gusts up to 50 miles per hour are expected.

The Advisory area includes central Douglas County and its eastern foothills, along with Josephine County and eastern Curry County, especially above 1,500 feet.

Forecasters said travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Weak trees and tree branches could come down. Drivers should use extra caution, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle.
