The Douglas County Public Works Department reopened a seven-mile section of the Tiller Trail Highway Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m.

The road, between milepost 35 and milepost 42 – which is the county line- had been closed since early Wednesday evening due to adverse weather and dangerous road conditions. Crews worked throughout the night to clear debris caused by the weather event. Cleanup will continue with flaggers assisting with traffic control.

Motorists are asked to use caution when traveling through the area.
