MAN CITED FOR FAILURE TO PERFORM THE DUTIES OF DRIVER FOLLOWING CRASH

A man was cited early Monday for failure to perform the duties of driver following a crash with property damage, by Oregon State Police.

An OSP report said at 12:40 a.m. a sedan was southbound on Interstate 5 about a mile north of the Winston exit. An SUV in the same lane, drove into the back of the sedan causing damage to both vehicles. The SUV failed to stop and was located on the freeway about 17 miles to the south. The 36-year old driver was cited in lieu of custody following an investigation.
