Christmas tree permits are now available online from the Bureau of Land Management.

They can be purchased through December 24th on the link: https://forestproducts.blm.gov/customer/permitselect/OR

Permits will be available from BLM’s Roseburg District Office from November 28th through December 23rd.

Cheyne Rossbach of the BLM said the cost for a single tree up to 12 feet high is $5. There is a limit of three trees per household. No commercial permits will be issued. Rossbach said the permit authorizes purchasers to cut their own tree on a self-serve basis in either the Swiftwater or South River Resources Areas on BLM managed lands.

Permits and maps are available for purchase by phone at 440-4930 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays. The permit will be mailed to the purchaser.
