Nearly twenty months after filing a development application with the City of Roseburg, In-N-Out Burger has announced that its Roseburg location will open on Thursday. The company began initial discussions with city staff regarding the property in October of 2020.
The outlet is on Northwest Aviation Drive, just south of Home Depot, and adjacent to Interstate 5. It will be the 4th In-N-Out Burger in Oregon, with other locations in Medford, Grants Pass and Keizer. There are over 330 stores around the nation. That includes locations in Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Texas and in California, where the chain began with a barely 10 square foot store in Baldwin Park, in 1948. It was founded by Harry and Esther Snyder and is still owned and operated by the Snyder family. None of the units are franchised.
The two-acre parcel housing In-N-Out includes the 3,885 square foot restaurant with indoor seating for 74 guests, along with drive through service and outside patio seating, for 70 customers. It has 71 parking spaces and over 26,000 square feet of landscape area.
In-N-Out spokesperson Kathleen Hardesty said Michael Williams, who has been with the company for 14 years, will manage the new restaurant. Approximately 80 associates will be employed with a starting wage of $15.75 per hour. Hardesty said all In-N-Out Burger locations are open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. and until 1:30 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays
