Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged trespass incident on Sunday.

An RPD report said at 12:30 p.m. officers contacted the 56-year old in the 600 block of Southeast Rose Street. The suspect was reportedly laying on the sidewalk and drinking a beer. The man was already excluded from being in the downtown area.

He was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and for drinking in public. Bail was set at $1,250.
