ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOLLOWING ALLEGED DISTURBANCE

Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged disturbance on Monday.

An RPD report said at about 11:50 a.m. officers contacted 42-year old Christopher Harrell near the intersection of Southeast Stephens Street and Southeast Lane Avenue. The suspect had allegedly pushed another man out of a wheel chair. During the investigation, Harrell was reportedly confrontational with them and later resisted arrest.

He was charged with harassment, second-degree disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Harrel was detained on $11,250 bail.
