Umpqua National Forest has reduced the Castle Fire closure effective Friday, October 1st. 6. Closure Order #06-15-02-26-04 will close roads where heavy equipment continues to work repairing roads along control lines from the Castle Fire. This closure order will remain in place to help mitigate interactions between the public and equipment that is operating in the area. The new closure order replaces the previous closure order.

This closure order will impact recreation access to Lakes Trailhead, Fish Lake Trailhead, and Beaver Swamp Trailhead.
