ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN AFTER ALLEGED DISORDERLY CONDUCT INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a man after an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Tuesday.

An RPD report said just after 7:30 p.m. the 28-year old was allegedly walking on the sidewalk along Southeast Parrott Street near the intersection with Southeast Spruce Street. The suspect had no pants on and was yelling and causing a scene. As officers pulled up to talk with him, he dove into a bamboo fence, causing about $300 worth of damage.

The suspect was charged with second-degree counts of disorderly conduct and criminal mischief. Bail was set at $8,750.
