Law enforcement is investigating a shooting which took place in the Myrtle Creek area Wednesday morning.

An incident began to unfold shortly after 10:00 a.m. in the 600 block of Weaver Road with police scanner reports indicating that shots had been fired and medical personnel were needed.

Some roads in the area were closed as of 10:30 a.m.
