Douglas County government has announced its closure plans for Monday’s Memorial Day holiday.

All offices in the courthouse along with the landfill and transfer stations and the Douglas County Museum will be closed. However, the Umpqua River Lighthouse Museum in Winchester Bay will be open as normal for business.

Sheriff’s deputies and 911 communications will continue to provide law enforcement protection.
