COUNTY HAS HAD 60 NEW CASES OF COVID-19 IN THE PAST WEEK

Douglas County has had 60 new cases of COVID-19 in the past week, between March 10th and Wednesday.

While no longer putting out an in-depth weekly report, the data is still being tracked by county government. 53 of the cases were people that had new positive test results and 7 were presumptive. 5 more delayed deaths of county residents have been announced. They include an 82-year old woman, a 76-year old man, a 67-year old man, an 87-year old woman and an 82-year old woman. Two were not vaccinated, while three were fully vaccinated but not up to date. No new deaths were reported. 377 county residents have now died related to COVID-19.

The total number of cases is now at 19,640. Of those 18,725 are people that have received positive test results, and 915 are presumptive.
