COMMISSIONERS ISSUE PROCLAMATION FOR INVEST IN VETERANS WEEK

On Wednesday at their weekly business meeting, Douglas County Commissioners Tim Freeman, Chris Boice and Tom Kress issued a proclamation for Douglas County Invest in Veterans Week, which is happening through March 7th.

A release from the Board, said the proclamation recognizes the important role that United States military veterans play in the economic and social vitality of the county.

Commissioner Tim Freeman read the proclamation and presented 17 county businesses and 5 citizens with “Invest in Veteran’s Week” certificates to honor their service to other veterans, their service to our country and for their veteran-owned businesses.  A copy of the video from the presentation is at: https://www.facebook.com/DouglasCountyeGovernment
