In the KQEN Business Spotlight:
MOD Pizza is coming to Roseburg.
Charlotte Wayte from MOD’s corporate office in Bellevue, Washington, told News Radio 1240 KQEN that the 2,500 square foot restaurant at 1176 Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard is projected to be ready to open sometime in mid-August. The location was formerly occupied by the American Red Cross. Around 25 employees are expected to be hired.
Wayte said MOD Pizza was founded in Seattle in 2008 by entrepreneurs Scott and Ally Svenson, who were looking for quick affordable options for their family with four growing boys, and saw an opportunity to innovate the pizza category.
Wayte said each MOD Pizza is made to order right in front of the customer. She said from fresh pressed dough to crunchy greens and over 30 toppings available, the options are unlimited. Pizzas and salads are always one price with unlimited toppings.
Currently there are 500 MOD stores across 28 states and Canada. 29 are located in Oregon.
