ELKTON MAN JAILED FOLLOWING REPORTED DISORDERLY CONDUCT INCIDENT

An Elkton man was jailed following a reported disorderly conduct incident on Monday afternoon.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 12:50 p.m. the 37-year-old was arrested after being called in for walking in front of traffic in the 200 block of Longview Drive in Elkton. The man was allegedly screaming for someone to call 911 for incidents that were not happening. When a deputy arrived, the man was sitting in the roadway with his items strewn around. He reportedly decided to take almost all of his clothes off before being handcuffed. The man was allegedly in possession of a loaded .45 magazine with no gun.

He was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct. Other charges were later added. The man was detained without bail.
