Roseburg Police cited a man after an alleged burglary early Saturday.

An RPD report said at 1:30 a.m. the suspect was contacted at Dutch Bros in the 1700 block of Northeast Stephens after he flagged down an officer driving by. The man said he found a drive through window unlocked so went inside to get a few items, but left money for what was taken.

The report said the suspect had left a single dollar bill, which didn’t cover the cost of the items. The man was cited for second-degree burglary and third-degree theft.

He was released after the citation was issued.
