SOUTH UMPQUA SCHOOL DISTRICT SUMMER MEAL PROGRAM CONTINUES

The South Umpqua School District summer meal program continues.

The Lunchbox Express van will deliver free meals to children at various south county sites through August 12th. Free “grab and go” meals are available to all children and teens 18 years and younger Mondays through Thursdays.

*11:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at Myrtle Terrace Apartments

*11:20 a.m. to 11:35 a.m. at Myrtle Creek Elementary

*11:40 a.m. to 11:55 a.m. at Millsite Park

*12:00 p.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Meadowlark Apartments

*12:25 p.m. to 12:40 p.m. at Tri City Elementary

*1:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Stagecoach Apartments in Canyonville

Meals are also available at Riddle Elementary through July 30th. Breakfast is offered from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. with lunch available from 10:40 a.m. to 11:10 a.m.

The summer food program is part of the USDA Food and Nutrition Service and is administered by the Oregon Department of Education Child Nutrition Programs. For more information, go to www.susd.k12.or.us.
