Roseburg Police arrested a man on a drug charge and for driving while suspended-misdemeanor, on Tuesday.

An RPD report said just before 6:30 p.m. 45-year old David Cloud was called in as a suspicious person, possibly involved in drug activity at Gaddis Park, by an off-duty deputy.

The deputy advised that he observed Cloud driving his vehicle in the parking lot. An officer contacted the suspect, knowing his license was suspended. Cloud was allegedly found to be in possession of 22 grams of methamphetamine, while being booked in at the jail.

Bail was set at $56,250.
