MAN CITED TWICE IN EIGHT HOURS ON MONDAY

Roseburg Police cited a man twice in separate incidents that took place on Monday.

 

An RPD report said at 10:00 a.m. the 46-year old allegedly threw a bag of garbage onto the lawn in front of a church in the 1100 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. The report said the man started to clean up the trash but ultimately made a bogger mess. He was cited for offensive littering.

Just before 6:00 p.m. the suspect was called in for shoplifting at a business in the 2400 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. Officers contacted the man who allegedly had the stolen items in his possession. The suspect was cited for third- degree theft.

The man was released after each citation was issued.
