ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL WOMAN ON FORGERY CHARGES

Roseburg Police jailed a woman on forgery charges on Friday.

An RPD report said at 1:00 p.m. 28-year old Mariah Davies was reportedly trying to cash a fraudulent check at a credit union in the 1100 block of Northeast Stephens. Charges included first degree forgery, fraudulent use of a credit card, identity theft, a first-degree count of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, negotiating a bad check and for computer crimes.

Bail was set at $306,250.
