COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,792, as of Friday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 265 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 210,229. The new cases include:

*31 in Multnomah County

*26 in Marion County

*22 in Jackson County

*20 in Washington County

*17 in Douglas County

*16 in Umatilla County

*15 each in Clackamas and Josephine counties

*13 in Linn County

*11 in Lane County

*8 in Yamhill County

*7 each in Baker and Benton counties

*6 in Lincoln County

*5 each in Union and Wasco counties

*4 in Polk County

*3 each in Coos, Grant, Harney and Jefferson counties

*2 in Tillamook County

*1 each in Clatsop, Columbia, Morrow and Sherman counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 75 to 93. 1 each lived in Douglas and Crook counties.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 99, which is 1 fewer than on Thursday. There are 26 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds which is 2 fewer than on Thursday.

OHA reported that 6,920 doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 3,280 doses were administered on Thursday. 3,640 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Thursday.
