Myrtle Creek’s Music in the Park series begins its 34th year Thursday night.
Douglas County’s longest running free outdoor concert series is coordinated by the Myrtle Creek-Tri City Chamber of Commerce and is supported 100 percent by donations, grants and gifts.
Performances are held in Millsite Park beginning at 6:00 p.m. Food vendors are on site. Dogs are allowed, if kept under control and cleaned up after. Those attending should bring lawn chairs and blankets.
Music in the Park will feature the Sound Stage Revue for its opening show. The 11-member group from Grants Pass will perform a patriotic tribute and USO Show.
Concerts continue most Thursday evenings through August.
