COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,790, as of Thursday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 212 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 209,973. The new cases include:

*23 each in Clackamas and Marion counties

*21 in Umatilla County

*18 in Jackson County

*17 in Washington County

*15 in Josephine County

*13 in Multnomah and Linn counties

*10 each in Deschutes and Yamhill counties

*8 in Klamath County

*7 each in Lane and Tillamook counties

*5 in Douglas County

*4 each in Benton, Columbia and Lincoln counties

*3 in Malheur County

*2 each in Crook, Polk and Union counties

*1 in Morrow County

The new deaths ranged in age from 66 to 72. 1 each lived in Klamath and Multnomah counties

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 100, which is 6 fewer than on Wednesday. There are 28 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 3 fewer than on Wednesday.

OHA reported that 10,824 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 7,482 doses were administered on Wednesday. 3,396 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Wednesday.
