COVID-19 has claimed 6 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,788, as of Wednesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 273 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 209,764. The new cases include:

*37 in Marion County

*30 in Washington County

*28 in Clackamas County

*27 in Multnomah County

*18 in Umatilla County

*12 in Lane County

*11 each in Jackson and Klamath counties

*10 in Yamhill County

*9 each in Deschutes, Linn and Polk counties

*7 each in Douglas, Columbia and Union counties

*6 in Coos County

*5 each in Benton, Clatsop, Crook and Josephine counties

*4 in Lincoln County

*2 each in Jefferson, Morrow, and Tillamook counties

*1 each in Baker, Grant, Harney, Hood River and Wallowa counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 41 to 87. 1 each lived in Jefferson, Hood River, Lane, Josephine, Marion and Umatilla counties

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 106, which is 19 fewer than on Tuesday. There are 31 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 2 more than on Tuesday.

OHA reported that 8,632 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 5,082 doses were administered on Tuesday. 3,550 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Tuesday.
