A Roseburg man was jailed for an alleged assault on Sunday.

A Roseburg Police report said at about 3:30 p.m. the 34-year old suspect was seen punching a victim in the head, while they were traveling on Northwest Stewart Parkway. The report said the victim complained of face and head pain, but declined medical attention.

The suspect was charged with 4th degree assault, for harassment and for a warrant. Bail was set at $10,000.
