COVID-19 has claimed 1 more life, raising the state’s death toll to 2,782, as of Tuesday

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 85 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 209,494. The new cases include:

*22 in Multnomah County

*13 in Jackson County

*11 each in Douglas and Clackamas counties

*9 in Lane County

*5 in Linn County

*4 in Josephine County

*2 each in Columbia and Deschutes counties

*1 each in Baker, Benton, Klamath, Sherman, Union and Wasco counties

The new death was a 63-year old man from Douglas County

OHA’s weekend update showed that there were 66 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID on Sunday. 123 new confirmed and presumptive cases on Saturday and 189 new confirmed and presumptive cases on Friday.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 125, which is 15 fewer than on Monday. There are 29 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 1 more than on Monday.
