As of Monday, 53.6 percent of Douglas County residents age 16 and older have been vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said that means 50,837 residents have at least their first dose of the vaccine. 486 new vaccination doses were administered since last week for residents age 16 and older. 43 new vaccine doses were given to those age 12 to 15 years of age.

DCCRT said they are still adding vaccine doses given to local residents at the Roseburg VA Health Care Center and by the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians to the state reported numbers that have yet to be added to the state data system.
