COVID-19 has claimed 1 more life, raising the state’s death toll to 2,745, as of Thursday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 300 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 205,988. The new cases include:

*35 in Multnomah County

*27 in Marion County

*26 in Lane County

*22 in Clackamas County

*20 in Umatilla County

*18 in Linn County

*17 in Washington County

*15 each in Douglas and Josephine counties

*14 in Jackson County

*11 in Deschutes County

*10 in Polk County

*8 in Columbia County

*7 each in Curry, and Lincoln counties

*6 each in Baker and Clatsop counties

*5 each in Benton, Harney, Klamath and Malheur counties

*3 each in Jefferson and Yamhill counties

*2 each in Coos, Crook, Morrow and Wasco counties

*1 each in Hood River and Union counties

The new death is a 76-year old man from Lane County

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 151, which is 11 fewer than on Wednesday. There are 37 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is unchanged from Wednesday.

OHA reported that 16,106 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 8,643 doses were administered on Wednesday. 7,463 were administered on previous days but were added to the immunization registry on Wednesday.
