COVID-19 has claimed 10 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,726, as of Thursday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 370 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 204,291. The new cases include:
*85 in Deschutes County
*59 in Multnomah County
*35 in Marion County
*30 in Clackamas County
*23 in Lane County
*22 in Washington County
*17 in Douglas County
*15 in Jackson County
*11 each in Crook and Linn counties
*10 in Klamath County
*8 each in Benton, Josephine and Umatilla counties
*7 in Polk County
*4 each in Columbia, Hood River and Yamhill counties
*2 each in Coos and Malheur counties
*1 each in Baker, Clatsop, Harney, Jefferson and Union counties
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 173, which is 9 more than on Wednesday. There are 41 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 5 more than on Wednesday.
OHA reported that 27,113 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 11,182 doses were administered on Wednesday. 15,931 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Wednesday.
