22 NEW POSITIVE TEST RESULTS, 1 NEW PRESUMPTIVE

22 more people have received new positive test results for COVID-19 in Douglas County, and there is 1 new presumptive case, as of Friday.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 3,660. Of those, 3,491 are people that have received positive test results, and 169 are presumptive. There have been 78 deaths. 11 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 5 locally and 6 outside the area. 193 people are in isolation. 481 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 674 people that are either in isolation or quarantine. That is a decrease of 116 people since Thursday.

The update said out of the 111 cases the county has had in the past week, 110 of those were people who were not vaccinated, meaning a very low breakthrough rate.
