Saving Grace Pet Adoption Center is part of a national effort to help deserving shelter pets find loving homes.

A Saving Grace release said BISSELL Pet Foundation, a national animal welfare organization dedicated to ending pet homelessness, is prompting a national call for adoption again this spring with its “Empty the Shelters” reduced fee adoption event through May 15th. Saving Grace is participating with more than 410 shelters in 43 states. BISSELL Pet Foundation is sponsoring reduced adoption fees of $50 or less per cat or dog during each nationwide event.

Saving Grace Executive Director Jennifer Barta said, “We have right around 70 adorable pets patiently waiting for people to choose them. This event is a beacon of hope for all of these animals, and we are encouraging everyone to come out and adopt their new best friend”. Barta said, “With the shelter being so full, there isn’t a better time than now to come and adopt”.

The release said Saving Grace relies on events like this to help promote pet adoption and to help bring people and pets together. During the last Empty the Shelters event, the community adopted 57 cats and 31 dogs into loving homes. The non-profit is hoping to send even more pets home this time around.

Saving Grace is providing $50 adoptions for all pets through May 15th. Adoption Hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays 12:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Those interested in adopting can preview all adoptable pets on the website: https://savinggracepetadoptioncenter.org/
