COVID-19 CLAIMS NO MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 2,460, AS OF SUNDAY

COVID-19 has claimed no more lives, with the state’s death toll remaining at 2,460, as of Sunday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 628 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 175,121. The new cases include:

*142 in Multnomah County

*83 each in Marion and Washington counties

*72 in Clackamas County

*42 in Deschutes County

*39 in Lane County

*37 in Klamath County

*20 in Jackson County

*16 in Linn County

*14 in Yamhill County

*11 in Polk County

*9 in Josephine County

*7 each in Columbia and Coos counties

*6 each in Grant and Jefferson counties

*5 in Union County

*4 each in Clatsop, Douglas, and Lincoln counties

*2 each in Baker, Crook, Curry, and Wasco counties

*1 each in Harvey, Hood River, Malheur, and Tillamook counties

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 215, which is 15 more than on Saturday. There are 48 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 1 more than on Saturday.

OHA reported that 32,287 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the immunization registry. Of that total, 20,973 vaccine doses were administered on Saturday. 11,314 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Saturday.
