COVID-19 has claimed 6 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,455, as of Thursday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 733 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 172,931. The new cases include:
*120 in Multnomah County
*98 in Washington County
*74 in Lane County
*63 in Clackamas County
*56 in Marion County
*53 in Deschutes County
*46 in Klamath County
*34 in Jackson County
*23 in Linn County
*22 in Polk County
*18 in Benton County
*16 in Baker County
*13 each in Josephine and Yamhill counties
*10 each in Douglas and Columbia counties
*9 each in Coos and Umatilla counties
*8 in Wasco County
*6 each in Hood River and Lincoln counties
*5 in Crook County
*3 each in Clatsop, Curry, Tillamook and Union counties
*2 in Malheur County
*1 each in Grant and Morrow counties
The new deaths ranged in age from 52 to 93. 1 each lived in Baker, Clackamas, Jackson, Linn and Polk counties.
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 195, which is 5 fewer than on Wednesday. There are 53 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 1 more than on Wednesday.
OHA reported that 44,971 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 29,455 were administered on Wednesday. 15,526 were administered on previous days, but were added entered into the vaccine registry on Thursday.
