COVID-19 CLAIMS 1 MORE LIVE, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 2,392, AS OF SUNDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 1 more life, raising the state’s death toll to 2,392, as of Sunday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 404 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 166,882.

The new cases include:

*84 in Multnomah County

*59 in Clackamas County

*45 in Washington County

*31 in Deschutes County

*30 in Lane County

*28 in Marion County

*24 in Jackson County

*13 each in Klamath and Polk counties

*12 each in Josephine and Linn counties

*8 in Douglas County

*7 in Columbia County

*6 in Yamhill County

*5 in Benton County

*4 each in Lincoln and Union counties

*3 each in Coos, Jefferson and Tillamook counties

*2 each in Curry and Grant counties

*1 each in Baker, Clatsop, Malheur, Morrow, Wallowa and Wasco counties

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 150, which is 3 fewer than on Saturday. There are 43 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 1 fewer than on Saturday.

OHA reported that 32,692 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 22,084 doses were administered on Saturday. 10,608 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Saturday.
