COVID-19 CLAIMS NO MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 2,385

COVID-19 has claimed no more lives, raising the state death toll to 2,385, as of Friday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 499 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 166,013. The new cases include:

*111 in Multnomah County

*52 in Washington County

*43 in Lane County

*39 in Marion County

*29 in Jackson County

*26 in Clackamas County

*24 in Deschutes County

*19 in Klamath County

*16 in Polk County

*14 each in Douglas and Linn counties

*13 each in Columbia and Yamhill counties

*12 in Coos County

*10 each in Josephine and Lincoln counties

*8 in Baker County

*7 each in Curry and Umatilla counties

*6 in Union County

*5 each in Benton and Harney counties

*3 each in Jefferson and Tillamook counties

*2 in Clatsop County

*1 each in Lake, Malheur and Wallowa counties

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 157, which is 2 more than on Thursday. There are 42 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 3 more than on Thursday.

OHA reported that 46,154 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state’s immunization registry. Of that total, 29,325 new doses were administered on Thursday. 16,829 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Thursday.
