COVID-19 has claimed 3 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,373, as of Friday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 505 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 163,295. The new cases include:
*108 in Multnomah County
*74 in Clackamas County
*67 in Washington County
*30 in Jackson County
*27 in Marion County
*26 in Deschutes County
*25 in Lane County
*15 in Coos County
*16 in Josephine County
*14 each in Benton and Polk counties
*11 each in Douglas and Linn counties
*10 in Yamhill County
*9 in Columbia County
*8 in Tillamook County
*7 in Umatilla County
*6 in Klamath County
*5 in Clatsop County
*4 in Grant County
*3 each in Baker and Malheur counties
*2 each in Crook, Harney, Jefferson and Lincoln counties
*1 each in Hood River, Union, Wallowa and Wasco counties
The new deaths ranged in age from 74 to 81. 1 each lived in Douglas, Coos and Lane counties.
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 108, which is the same as Thursday. There are 18 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 1 more than on Thursday.
OHA reported that 41,716 new doses of COVID-19 vaccines were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 25,541 doses were administered on Thursday. 16,715 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Thursday.
