COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives, raisings the state’s death toll to 2,305, as of Wednesday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 306 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 158,291. The new cases include:
*61 in Multnomah County
*36 in Washington County
*29 in Marion County
*23 in Clackamas County
*21 in Jackson County
*19 in Coos County
*17 each in Jackson, Josephine and Deschutes counties
*15 in Lane County
*12 in Douglas County
*8 in Yamhill County
*7 in Benton County
*6 each in Grant and Umatilla counties
*4 each in Columbia and Linn counties
*3 each in Clatsop and Jefferson counties
*2 each in Curry, Klamath, Malheur, Union and Wasco counties
*1 each in Baker, Lincoln and Morrow counties
The new deaths ranged in age from 73 to 85. 1 each lived in Jackson and Marion counties.
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 122, which is 12 fewer than on Tuesday. There are 22 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 9 fewer than on Tuesday.
OHA reported that 24,924 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 14,081 doses were administered on Tuesday. 10,843 doses were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Tuesday.
OHA has now administered a cumulative total of 1,204,418 first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccines. To date, 1,542,635 doses of vaccine have been delivered to sites across Oregon.
