1 MORE DEATH, 14 NEW POSITIVE TEST RESULTS, 1 NEW PRESUMPTIVE CASE

1 more person in Douglas County has died of COVID-19, 14 more people have received new positive test results, and there is 1 new presumptive case, as of Thursday.

County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the 58th death was a 91-year old woman, who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on February 8th and passed away on February 17th.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 2,681. Of those, 2,550 are people that have received positive test results and 131 are presumptive. 11 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 6 locally and 5 outside the area. 192 people are in isolation. 455 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 647 people that are either in isolation or quarantine. That is an increase of 81 people since Wednesday.

The next drive through testing clinic with DPHN is Friday in Roseburg.
