11 more people have received positive test results for COVID-19 in Douglas County, with 4 new presumptive cases, as of Monday.
An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said since the Friday update, 61 new cases have been reported. It said the exponential growth in unrelated cases is affecting a number of schools, care centers and workplaces in all parts of the county.
The total number of cases is now at 497. Of those, 439 are people that have received positive test results and 54 are presumptive. There have been 10 deaths. 7 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are being hospitalized locally. 124 people are in isolation. 461 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 589 people that are in either isolation or quarantine. 16,633 people have tested negative for COVID-19 in the county.
The next drive through testing clinic with DPHN will be Tuesday in Roseburg.
