MAN CITED FOR UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METH

A 63-year old man was cited for unlawful possession of methamphetamine by Roseburg Police on Thursday night.
The RPD report said at 8:30 p.m., officers contacted the man at Eastwood Park. He allegedly threw a small plastic tube against the fence when he saw police in the park. An officer checked the tube and determined that it was 1.7 grams of meth. The suspect left the scene in his van but was later contacted in the parking lot of a business.
He was released after being cited.
