MAN CITED AFTER ROAD RAGE ASSAULT

A Roseburg man was cited after an assault on Monday afternoon.
Information from Roseburg Police said at about 4:00 p.m. the 27-year old and a 19-year old man from Riddle, got into a road rage incident in the 100 block of Garden Valley Boulevard. The report said both men drove their vehicles into a parking lot and got into a verbal argument. The suspect reportedly walked the other man back to his car, where the second man pushed the first man away from him. The report said the 27-year old allegedly punched the other man in the face one time, then threw him to the ground. The victim claimed he suffered a concussion and had trouble talking and eating.
The 27-year old man was cited for fourth degree assault and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was released after the citation was issued.
