COVID-19 CLAIMS 2 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL TO 655

COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives, raising the state death toll to 655, as of Monday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 339 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 42,436. The new cases include:

*90 in Multnomah County

*56 in Washington County

*41 in Clackamas County

*40 in Marion County

*37 in Lane County

*15 in Jackson County

*10 in Deschutes County

*8 in Coos County

*7 each in Columbia and Linn counties

*6 in Yamhill County

*5 in Umatilla County

*4 in Polk County

*2 each in Crook and Malheur counties

*1 each in Benton, Clatsop, Douglas, Josephine, Klamath, Sherman, and Union counties

Oregon’s 61st COVID-19 death is a 61-year old man in Douglas County who tested positive on October 19th and died October 25th at his residence.

Oregon’s 62nd COVID-19 death is a 96-year old woman in Washington County who tested positive on October 9th and died on October 23rd at her residence.

Both had underlying conditions, according to the OHA.
