ONE UCC STUDENT HAS TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

1 Umpqua Community College student has tested positive for COVID-19.

A message on the school’s website by Public Information Officer Tiffany Coleman said the news was being shared with the community to provide awareness. Coleman said the student attended a class in the Bonnie J. Ford, Nursing, and Science Center on Wednesday October 14th and on Friday October 16th. The student is currently quarantined at home as are 9 classmates and the instructor of the class. Anyone that was exposed has already been notified, according Coleman.
