Roseburg Police cited a man for an alleged harassment incident on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 11:00 a.m. two men were involved in a verbal altercation over a fence between their residences in the 800 block of Southeast McClellan Avenue. One of the men went to the other man’s residence where the disagreement escalated to being a physical altercation.

The first man allegedly shoved the victim, causing him to fall into a bench. He also reportedly broke off an ornamental piece of wooden handrail from the front steps of the victim’s residence.

63-year old Harry Thompson was charged with harassment and second-degree counts of criminal mischief and criminal trespass. He was cited and released on the scene.
