The League of Women Voters is hosting a candidate forum on Thursday to give local voters a chance to hear from the people running for Mayor and positions on the Roseburg City Council.

Eight of nine candidates have confirmed their attendance for the event, according to a release from the League of Women Voters. The forum will be held from 6-8 p.m. in the Ford Room at the Roseburg Public Library.

The release said that the discussion may include comments on the use of flock cameras, homeless camps, public safety, ICE activity in Douglas County and Roseburg, resolutions and ordinances, housing and other local concerns.

Organizers say audience questions will be a main part of the program and questions may be submitted in advance to info@lwvuv.org.
