In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Umpqua Community College Performing and Visual Arts is presenting the second Alumni Music Showcase at 7:00 p.m. on August 4th in the Whipple Fine Arts building on the school’s campus.

The concert will feature former UCC music students who are currently pursuing professional careers in music. That includes Troy Pennington, Justus Macintosh and Janet Meacham. This is an all-ages event.

Admission is $10 at the door, with students getting in for free. Call 440-4691 for more information.
